Pictures of our trip from Minneapolis to the Estes Park area of Colorado in July of 2001.  The storm pictures are in the Northern part of Nebraska, between Valentine and Chadron.  

At noon one day it was 50 degrees F and the following day it was 105.  We saw the temperature drop from 95 to 66 in about 30 minutes in Eastern Colorado.

The half buried log building is at The Museum of the Fur Trade in Chadron.

The log cabin is at Meeker Park Lodge in between Estes Park and Allens Park on Highway 7.  Great place with a small lodge and about 20 cabins.  Ours had a view of small aspens and a big mountain, with lots of hummingbirds, jays, and chipmunks.
